John Gooch

John leads BCG's Health Care practice in Western Europe, South America and Africa. John specializes in driving large programs focused on commercial and operational effectiveness. John’s work at BCG has spanned the global pharmaceutical sector, consumer healthcare and leading work with some of the world's leading hospitals inside and outside the NHS, with a particular focus on improving clinical operations.

Ann Keen
Professor of Innovation Health for Older Care London South Bank University; Senior Scholar at the Hartford Institute, New York University
Ann is a former Labour MP (1997-2010) and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health Services (2007-2010). She is currently fellow of the Queen’s Nursing Institute, fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, visiting professor at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery Kings College London and honorary lecturer at the Imperial College Institute of Global Health Innovation.

Martin Taylor
Former Member of FPC of Bank of England; Vice Chairman of RTL Group
In a career spanning the worlds of finance, industry, public policy and journalism, Martin has been Chairman of WH Smith plc (1999-2003), Chief Executive Officer of Barclays plc (1993-98) and Courtaulds Textiles (1990-93). From 1999-2005 he was an adviser to Goldman Sachs International.

Dr David Treacher
Former Consultant Physician at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Treacher is clinical lead for the critical care collection at King's. Based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Treacher is also sub-dean of teaching at St Thomas’ site Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine. With a background as a physician, particularly within respiratory medicine, Dr Treacher’s career has been spent almost entirely within the field of critical care.

Dr Richard Wolfe
Chief of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School
Richard is an active clinician and teacher, was previously director of the residency in emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and served as chair of the Education Committee for the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is currently a member of the Emergency Medicine Connections task force.

Joanne Shaw
Non-executive Director and Chair of Audit & Risk at NHS England; Chair of Vitality Corporate Services Ltd
Joanne has a broad commercial, public and third sector background. As past Chair of NHS Direct, she has a particular interest in the use of mobile and digital channels for health and medicines and the changing relationship between individual consumers, their own health and their health care providers.

Dr Graham Rich
Experienced Chair and Non Executive Director of Health Care and Technology organisations
Graham has 20 years board experience including as Chair and Non Executive Director of public and privately held companies. He was previously chief executive of NHS hospitals and a primary care trust (PCT).
Graham is interested in patient empowerment, use of IT in healthcare and improved transparency on outcomes and patient satisfaction to drive performance improvement.
