DemDx in Primary Care
Primary care teams are managing increasing patient demand, complex presentations, workforce pressures, and growing documentation and governance requirements. DemDx Clinical Assessment Platform is a structured clinical assessment and documentation platform designed to support safe, consistent assessments across multi-professional primary care teams.
DemDx supports clinicians by guiding structured consultations, generating clear and comprehensive clinical notes, supporting adherence to best-practice guidance, and facilitating effective supervision and clinical debrief. The platform integrates with EMIS and TPP/SystmOne and can support assessment, documentation, training, and clinical governance across primary care services.
This page provides an overview of how DemDx supports primary care teams, followed by evaluation findings from an NHS primary care implementation.
The poster below provides an overview of how DemDx supports primary care teams, including its impact on consultation productivity, documentation quality and safety, pathway adherence, clinical confidence, patient-facing time, and service-level return on investment.

We are pleased to share findings from a pre-post implementation study conducted at Bromley By Bow Health Centre evaluating the DemDx Clinical Assessment Platform (CAP) in a GP setting.
The study assessed supervisor feedback following implementation of DemDx CAP among Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in an NHS primary care setting. It examined the platform's impact on clinical assessment quality, documentation standards, debrief discussions, and supervisor confidence.
Supervisors completed a structured survey rating changes from 'not at all' to 'extremely' across these domains. Findings showed a 19% improvement in clinical note quality, increased supervisor confidence in AHP assessments, and only a minimal increase in assessment time.
These results suggest that DemDx CAP can support high-quality, structured documentation in primary care while contributing to a reduced supervision burden.

The two reports below provide a detailed description of the study design, methodology, and results from the Bromley By Bow Health Centre evaluation, including supervisor survey data and analysis of documentation quality before and after implementation of DemDx CAP.
