April 2025 – July 2025 | DemDx Clinical Release Notes – updates based on NICE guidance updates
All new NICE Guidance updates in the last quarter have been reviewed by the DemDx Clinical Governance committee to ensure our clinical content remains up to date and complies with national best practice. The following topics were deemed to be relevant to primary care and changes have been made to align DemDx platform content with the latest clinical guidance.
Acute Abdominal Pain (New NICE topic)
• DemDx content reviewed and updated in line with the new NICE topic.
Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (NICE)
• New advice to consider oromucosal gels/lozenges/sprays for symptom management (adult and child) added.
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (New NICE Topic)
• DemDx content reviewed and brought in line with NICE updates for Adult and Child CFS/ME.
